But to adequately address chronic absenteeism - we need to recognize that in reality, chronic absenteeism is but a symptom. And to really get to heart of a cure, we must dive deep beneath the waters to discover and treat the underlying problems that manifest as chronic absenteeism. Join us to learn about practices and strategies to implement in the classroom and the school community that will increase engagement for students who are homeless and decrease chronic absenteeism – even before it starts.
