About me
Dr. Sarah Morris Slaughter's purpose and passion is helping people to serve others (i.e. students, teachers, admininistrators, educators, colleagues) from an authentic place through the vehicle of professional learning. She has served in numerous capacities to include a middle school science teacher in Petersburg Public Schools and at Wilder Middle School, an elementary assisant and associate principal at Racliffe Elementary and Twin Hickory Elementary Schools, principal at Short Pump Elementary and Pinchbeck Elementary Schools, and intervention specialist for exceptional learners in the department of Teaching and Learning. Currently, Sarah serves as an educational specialist in the department of Professional Learning and Leadership. Outside of education, she is a mom of two girls and a youth pastor at a small church in Louisa County.
